Jewelry Care Instructions

General Care

To maintain the quality of our bracelets, please avoid wearing them in water or exposing them to any liquids. It's important to keep them away from perfumes, hair products, lotions, soaps, oils, and cleaning agents. Always take off your jewelry before engaging in physical activities or cleaning tasks.

When you're getting ready to store your jewelry for a while, take a moment to gently clean it with a soft cloth. Then, pop it into an airtight bag for safekeeping. To keep it looking fabulous and prevent tarnishing, toss in a silica packet—it's a little trick that works wonders!

Sterling Silver

To maintain the shine of sterling silver, utilize a polishing cloth specifically designed for this metal. Avoid exposure to chlorine water and refrain from using paper products, as they can scratch the surface. Store your silver jewelry in a cool, dry area, protected from light and air to help prevent tarnishing. We recommend a liquid jewelry cleaner that is made for sterling silver. However, for items that include stones, pearls, or crystals, it’s best to use only the polishing cloth, as the liquid may harm certain gemstones.

Caring for Plated Jewelry:

To keep your plated jewelry looking its best, please follow these care tips.

Avoid using scented products like perfumes, colognes, and lotions, as they often contain chemicals that can react with the plating, leading to discoloration or fading. Additionally, your body chemistry and moisture levels can affect the jewelry; a higher pH level on your skin can accelerate the wear of plated items.

Never wear plated jewelry while swimming, showering, or engaging in any water activities, as chlorine and saltwater can harm the plating. When you remove your jewelry, make sure to store it in a dry location. Be careful to avoid friction or contact with hard surfaces, as this can cause scratches and wear.

If you need to clean your plated jewelry, use warm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap. After cleaning, gently pat it dry with a clean cotton or microfiber cloth. Keep in mind that many jewelry cleaners contain chemicals that can gradually wear away the plating over time.

Taking these simple steps will keep your jewelry shining bright for a long time!
